Disney Goebel DIS 105 - Tuffy the Orphan Kitten Dish or Ashtray
Second in the series of Tuffy often mistaken for Figaro. Once you realize the difference, it is easy to recognize this as Tuffy. It's all in the eyes...

Disney Goebel DIS 104 - Tuffy the Orphan Kitten Covered Container
I've been waiting for this one. Despite numerous people that say Figaro - including Goebel on the label on the S&P set (DIS 138) that matches this figure - this is Tuffy, one of the kittens from Three Orphan Kittens.
And I'm not just saying that, I have evidence to back it up. As we've shown already with the Foulfellow figure, Goebel did not always know who was who in their figures. This is another case. Based on an illustration from the 1934 Whitman book pictured below
that depicts the kittens playing with a sewing basket (as kittens are wont to do). This illustration is clearly what this figure and it corresponding S&P set was based on.

Disney Goebel DIS 102 - J Worthington Foulfellow
This is an interesting figure in that it appears that the Goebel company didn't know who he was - not the first time this would happen.
Old Honest John here is sporting a label for Brer Fox.

Disney Goebel DIS 098 - Figaro
The only true Figaro in the Goebel line. The German Goebel book lists this as an A/B figure, but the pictures of the Goebel catalog pages only note it as DIS 098 - no A/B - so I'm inclined to think it is a single figure.
UPDATE: Thanks to Fred Muenzmaier for sharing this photo of the exceptionally rare B figure, whose head is turned to the left.

UPDATE: Another new figure released from the Goebel Archive - DIS 098/II, the Figaro Toothpick Holder. It is unclear why Goebel did not assign it a unique number.

Disney Goebel DIS 082 - Who is this Mouse?
Recent new pictures have brought the identity of this character into question. DIS 083 is clearly Gus, and really looks nothing like this. Speculation is that this is either another view of Jaq or possibly another mouse from Cinderella, Bert or Mert. The coat color is correct for Bert or Mert.
This new image courtesy of my friend Alfred has some hand written initials on the base, MM, which could stand for Mert Mouse. I'm willing to go with it.
Also the colors on this mouse more closely match those from the film of Mert

Disney Goebel DIS 078 - Mickey Mouse Hunter Seated
Three figures of Mickey as a hunter?! How about a little more variety here Goebel? I mean, there are dozens of characters you never used (Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, lots of villains), surely you could have picked something else other than a third Mickey.
